Description

The DHR Navigation Light Control System (NLCS) provides reliable, compliant control of both LED and incandescent navigation lights (19–32VDC, max. 60W) for commercial and marine vessels. Designed to meet COLREG '72 requirements, the system offers intuitive operation, advanced redundancy and flexible configuration to ensure safe navigation in all operating conditions.

Each navigation light features dedicated on/off control, while grouped switching allows multiple lights to be operated simultaneously. Automatic spare lamp activation ensures uninterrupted operation in the event of a main lamp failure, with clear indication of both main and backup power supplies. USB connectivity enables simple configuration updates, while Ethernet networking allows multiple Mega-Guard operator panels to be connected for expanded system control. Integrated dimming controls provide quick adjustment for varying operating conditions.

Available in two operator panel configurations, both versions connect to an I/O Module that controls the main and spare navigation light circuits.

Push-Button Version (M067400)
The Push-Button version offers a simple, robust interface with 12 dedicated push-buttons and an integrated navigation mast display for straightforward operation. Its compact flush-mounted design supports up to 12 navigation lights with a single I/O Module, making it a practical and reliable solution for smaller installations where ease of use is paramount.

TFT Display Version (M067404 & M067406)
The TFT version features an intuitive 8.4-inch colour display with 12 corresponding control buttons, providing a clear overview of the navigation light system and easy operation. Designed for flush panel mounting, it supports up to 48 navigation lights when used with 4 x I/O Modules, making it ideal for larger vessels requiring comprehensive monitoring and control.
